is a Professor of Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical School, and an attending physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine and Division of Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. His clinical practice spans both the intensive care unit as well as the emergency department. Dr. Donnino was the first person in the country to train in a 6-year combined emergency medicine, internal medicine, and critical care program leading to board certification in all three areas. Dr. Donnino is also the Director of the Center for Resuscitation Science and Director of Critical Care in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Donnino’s research interests include clinical trials and clinical investigations in septic shock and cardiac arrest. In the field of cardiac arrest, Dr. Donnino is the lead investigator of a multi-center clinical trial evaluating the use of steroids in post-arrest shock and a multi-center trial evaluating thiamine as a metabolic resuscitator in septic shock. Other notable studies include an investigation in microcirculatory dysfunction post-arrest, an evaluation of the human metabolome in sepsis and post-cardiac arrest, and severity of illness scoring systems in post-cardiac arrest patients. Dr. Donnino is a member of the Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Subcommittee at the American Heart Association and co-author of sections of the 2010 ACLS guidelines.

is Director of Preventive Cardiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation at Beaumont Health, Royal Oak, Michigan. He holds faculty appointments as Professor of Physiology at Wayne State University School of Medicine and Professor of Internal Medicine, Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. Pursuing his interest in combining exercise physiology with cardiology, Barry and his associates have studied the physiologic and clinical responses to numerous occupational and leisure-time activities in people with and without heart disease. Other research interests include the prevention of heart disease; cardiovascular risk reduction; obesity and metabolism; exercise testing and prescription; and lifestyle medicine.

is a family medicine physician and physician-leader based in Southern Nevada, with a focus on population health, quality outcomes, and medical education. He has served as the inaugural Associate Program Director of the Valley Health System Family Medicine Residency, the largest in the state, and holds academic appointments at Roseman University, UNLV School of Medicine, and Touro University Nevada. With a background in biomedical engineering and global health, Dr. Gokal also serves as Executive Chair of One World Surgery, providing care to underserved communities in the Dominican Republic and Honduras. is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the American Health Information Management Association and was formerly the System Chief Medical Officer HCA Florida and Ocala hospitals. He formerly served as CEO of the American Osteopathic Association and the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Risk Officer for TeamHealth. He holds the following faculty appointments: Clinical Asst. Professor, Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine; Clinical Asst. Professor, Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is clinical faculty at the UCF/HCA Family Medicine Residency Program in Gainesville and a clinical assistant professor emeritus at the University of Florida. Dr. Kuritzky has given over 1,000 presentations to national and international medical audiences on dozens of clinical topics and has authored over 150 articles in journals including New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, Comprehensive Therapy, Hospital Practice, Consultant, Postgraduate Medicine, Journal of Pain and Palliative Care, and Patient Care.

was a practicing pediatrician for 22 years and is now the medical director of 3 local health departments covering 10 northern Michigan counties. He is also medical director of two school-linked Child and Adolescent Health Centers. Dr. Meyerson is board certified in pediatrics and a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics.
