Cancellation Policy
AEI understands that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to provide flexibility while recognizing that certain membership benefits are available immediately upon enrollment.
Course Registration
Participants who register for a Destination-Based Course without purchasing a membership may cancel their registration at any time prior to attending the course.
You may choose one of the following options:
- Receive a full tuition refund, less a $50 administrative fee; or
- Apply 100% of your tuition as a credit toward a future AEI course registration.
Silver Membership
A Silver Membership may be cancelled at any time during the membership year.
- If no membership benefits have been used, a refund will be issued less a $50 administrative fee.
- Once any On-Demand educational content has been accessed, the membership becomes non-refundable.
- If any membership benefits have been claimed (including travel vouchers, subscriptions, or other member-exclusive benefits), any refund will be reduced by the value of the benefits claimed.
Gold Membership
A Gold Membership includes all Silver Membership benefits plus one Destination-Based Course.
The membership portion of a Gold Membership is subject to the same cancellation policy as a Silver Membership.
The included Destination-Based Course remains fully refundable during the membership year, provided the course has not been attended. Gold Members may downgrade to a Silver Membership at any time during the membership year and receive a refund equal to the difference in price between the Gold and Silver Memberships, subject to the membership cancellation terms above.
